Career Day is an annual tradition at Canadian International School Kunshan. This day provides students with a dynamic and tangible experience that facilitates a connection between their academic pursuits and professional endeavors in the future. 

职业体验日为CISK传统的学生活动，每年的这一天，CISK的学生都会参与到许多生动有趣的活动之中。这将能帮助他们在学业追求与未来职业成就之间创建起有益的连接。

The teachers in CISK create a fun activity to help children to practice the theme of "how the world works", encourage the students to compare the different types of transportation and simulate the diverse characters in the uniforms.

幼儿园的老师们将“世界如何运作”这一学科主题融入到这场活动中，让托班与小班的孩子们体验了一番交通工具的模拟运营。

小不点们穿上不同职业的制服，像模像样地扮演起角色来，他们有飞行员、列车长、空乘、检票员、公交司机等等。

We invited several industry leaders to introduce the professional knowledge in different fields to give face-to-face job introductions for our children.

为了让孩子们更好地了解各行各业，我们还邀请到几位来自不同行业的从业者，以面对面的方式为孩子们进行趣味的职业解读。

CISK kindergarten invited the police officer Zhu to introduce the police profession. Police officer Zhu of Science and Technology Education Park Police Station introduced to nursery and pre nursery's children that there are many kinds of police and what they would do. 

我们邀请了一位真正的警察叔叔来介绍警察这一职业。朱警官来自科技教育园派出所，他给托班和小班的宝贝们耐心介绍了警察的种类与日常工作。

Police officer Zhu also showed the children the things they carried with them when they were patrolling, such as flashlights, handcuffs, batons, etc Full of interest, all want to go forward to have a look, touch it! The children also asked police officer Zhu a lot of questions and expressed their desire to be a policeman when they grow up.

朱警官还展示了民警巡逻时随身携带的物品，如：手电筒、手铐、警棍等等。孩子们好奇极了，都想上前摸一摸、看一看，还有的孩子表达了长大后想当警察的愿望。

JK 1's guest speaker was Wu Chenkai, epidemiologist and professor of Global Health at Duke University Kunshan. He came to discuss epidemics and how we can stop disease from spreading. Professor Wu opened with a discussion on why we get sick and how there are many different viruses all around us, too small for us to see with the naked eye. 

Brandon爸爸来自昆山杜克大学，是一位全球卫生教授及流行病学家。他为孩子们讲解了流行病是什么以及我们如何做才能阻止疾病传播。吴教授首先问了个问题“为什么我们会生病？”，然后为我们介绍了身边有着许多不同的病毒。它们非常小，如果不使用显微镜，肉眼是看不见的。

The presentation ended with a fun game in which some children pretended to be the virus and “spread” illness by placing stickers on one another. Finally, the children reflected on how they could stop viruses from spreading in their daily lives. 

演讲的最后是一个有趣的游戏，孩子们会在游戏中假装自己是病毒，通过在彼此身上贴“病毒”标签来“传播”疾病。最后，孩子们也一起思考了如何做才能在我们的日常生活中阻止病毒的传播。

How do we build the road? Bella's dad from an engineering company introduced interesting knowledge about the engineering industry for our children,which included different types of construction trucks. These are so cool!

道路是如何建成的？来自工程公司的Bella爸爸为孩子们介绍了工程行业富有趣味性的知识，这其中还包含了不同种类的工程车。这些内容简直太酷了！

We are curious and ask a lot of questions. Bella's dad is showing us the models of different types of construction trucks. We are using models to experience how to build the road.

孩子们充满了好奇并且提出了许多问题。Bella爸爸还为我们展示不同种类工程车的模型，而图片中我们正在使用模型体验如何建造公路。

How are parcels delivered? As an expert in logistics procedures, Ian's dad showed us the Automatic Logistic system of picking, sorting and packing.

包裹是如何运输的?身为供应链物流产品专家，Ian爸爸为我们展示了全自动的物流系统，这包括客户下单后拣出、分类和打包等程序。

Our children were very excited and showed great interest in robots.

孩子们兴奋极了，对物流系统中的机器人表现出了极大的兴趣。

Zeta’s mom gave our SK students an amazing presentation about her career as a university Maths lecturer. She talked about her field-Geometry and a mathematician named Möbius. 

作为一位大学的数学老师，Zeta妈妈给我们大班的小朋友做了一个精彩的演讲。她给我们讲述了她的研究领域——几何学，并介绍了一位著名的数学家莫比尔斯。

To help the students feel the maths magic, Zeta’s mom also prepared some materials for students to make their own möbius circles. It was very interesting and engaging.

为了让小朋友们深刻地感受到数学的魅力，Zeta妈妈还给大家准备了材料一起来制作莫比尔斯环。整个活动非常有趣，小朋友们都非常投入。

Josie's mom made a short presentation about her job responsibilities, as well as discussion with SK students about the language and its magic! The students were talking about reasons for communication and the amount of different languages around the world .

Josie妈妈是一位大学教师，她给大班的孩子们做了一个关于她的工作职责的介绍，同时给孩子们讲解了语言的魅力。孩子们一起讨论了关于语言交流的许多话题，并探讨起世界上到底有多少种语言。

It was super exciting! Students were happy to share their opinions and views with our guest speaker.

孩子们都很兴奋，他们很开心能和我们的演讲嘉宾分享自己的观念和看法。

Career Day is one way that we encourages our students to explore their interests and passions as an extension of their academic program and in the process better understand themselves and the world.

职业体验日是我们鼓励学生探索自身兴趣与热情的方式之一，并以此作为他们学术课程的延伸。我们相信，每一位孩子都将在这一过程中更好地认识自己、认识世界。
