In her first two years of teaching, she attended many seminars and events focusing on a child's development, individual needs and how to support them in meeting goals and outcomes of lessons, life skills and different subjects.

Needless to say, she loves teaching as this enables passionate teachers to assist children in laying the foundation in their knowledge, creativity, and life skills. Sunny Wang, graduated from Tianjin Foreign Language University with a degree in Chinese as a Foreign Language. With more than 6 years of teaching experience, she joined CISK in 2017 as a PYP language teacher at the school. She has participated in several IB trainings and received PYP CAT1 and CAT3 certificates. She is good at communicating with students to reach their potential and is good at integrating UOI with language materials for teaching. Her educational philosophy is to accompany students with love, respect and professionalism.

Ms. Xuan Zhou has worked in Canadian International School of Kunshan for more than 2 years. During this period, she has taught MYP Chinese language and literature courses, including grade 6 and pre-DP (Grade 10). She has a certain understanding of IB's teaching philosophy and teaching mode, and has penetrated the education philosophy, especially critical thinking she learned during her study in the UK into her teaching as much as possible. She also has a stronger interest in Chinese teaching in IB schools. In the 2022-2023 Academic Year, she chose to start from the PYP stage to carry out more in-depth study on IB teaching, and served as the Chinese teacher of JK and SK in kindergarten. She has gained a lot from her weekly collaborative meeting with foreign and Chinese teachers in preparing lessons. Her mandarin teaching has achieved the integration with transdisciplinary themes and they are consistent with other subjects. She is always striving to achieve concept driven teaching.

Rebecca is a native of Shanghai who has a strong affinity for bubble tea. With over a decade of international living experience in Malaysia and the United States, she has developed a profound appreciation for global perspectives and possesses a deep sense of cultural humility. Rebecca's dedication to community service and cross-cultural understanding is evident in her extensive volunteer work across diverse regions, including Kenya, Mexico, Yunnan, and Guizhou.

Previously, Rebecca initiated the Chinese Adolescents Depression Support Foundation in New York. Through this initiative, she championed mental health awareness and public education, with a particular focus on study-away college students. Rebecca has also gained extensive experience in various educational institutions, including the New York City Department of Education, Fudan University, and Duke Kunshan University. Furthermore, Rebecca is a pioneer in leading the first National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) certified training program in China.

Vicky has over 10 years of progressive experience in K-12 international schools, mainly engaged in admissions management, customer service, branding and marketing, and more than 3 years of experience in foreign affairs management. She has also been one of the core members of 2 start-up K12 international schools and 3 international curriculum programs. She is an active team player and team leader with strong leadership and rich experience in admissions and marketing.

Mr Spencer Fisher is from South Africa and has a Bachelor of Economics and International Trade graduating from the Center of International Programs(CIP) in Shanghai Donghua University.
 
Spencer has lived abroad starting at 19 years old first completing his Dive Master qualification in the Philippines and then pursuing university studies in Qingdao and Shanghai. Thereafter, he has worked in an array of corporate jobs in sales and marketing that have lead him across Asia working in the Maldives, Cambodia and Thailand which ultimately led him back to China to pursue his passion of teaching. Spencer first taught in a training center before being hired into a well know International School where within two years was promoted the Kindergarten Coordinator and oversaw a small team of teachers teaching Early Year IB curriculum to Japanese students which he continued to oversee over the next few years before joining CISK. Spencer has been in and around Asia for over 12 years with a large majority of that time being in Shanghai and Suzhou and accounting for his advanced level of Chinese.

Spencer is has a social and outgoing personality that is motivated by personal growth, positivity and fitness. In his free time he will be playing golf or padel, cycling or fishing with his friends.

Sunny has been an English and a Korean education manager and instructor with 10+ years of experience in delivering institutional instruction to a diverse student population with varied cultural backgrounds. She is skilled in coaching students and parents through counselling and effective communication skills using her in-depth knowledge of various cultures. She builds strong relationships with parents by answering their queries and resolving their challenges regarding school placement as well as enrollment. He graduated from the Directing Department of Sichuan Film and Television University. After graduation, he was responsible for brand promotion at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and a well-known international school. He has a drone captain's license jointly issued by the Flight Standards Department of the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the China Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He is also a Certified Visual China Photographer, a member of the Municipal Photographers Association, and a member of the Municipal Flying Photography Association. He has rich industry experience in brand planning and publicity, self-media matrix publicity, drone aerial photography, film and television photography and production.

Mr. Gao Yan graduated from Sichuan University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management. During his 8 years of work, he has worked for many Fortune 500 enterprise groups including BMW (China), and has extensive experience in the field of human resources. At the same time, as a lifelong learner, he always pays attention to the development of the education industry, and is committed to building a more excellent teaching staff team for the school, so as to ensure that every student could be provided with professional, interesting and memorable academic exploration and campus Life.

Anne graduated from RMIT University, she is an experienced management consultant and human resources professional with proven track records from International Management Consulting and IT Industry. 

She has gained deep insights over the past 6 years cross dynamic project accomplishments from startups to world leading large corporations in China and Australia.  

Anne has started her career journey with Education Industry while transferring her specialty and skills to proactively helping optimize corporate process as well as to deliver a decent staffing experience.

Milly graduated from Xi’an International Studies University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature. She has 10 years of co-teaching experience ranging from Kindergarten to Secondary School in CISK. She also had 5 years of middle school English teaching experience in a public Experimental Middle School. Working with different foreign teachers enriches her teaching experience, and makes her a more global mindset person with critical thinking and an empathetic attitude. Her hobbies are reading and travelling. Her motto is "Know yourself and become a better self".

Leonor graduated from Shanghai Normal University and Jilin International Studies University with a master's degree in TCSOL, with the Chinese National Teacher License (Chinese & English of junior high school). She is well versed in the Chinese and Korean language and culture, and has been to Hanyang University in South Korea as exchange student majoring in Chinese Studies and focusing on teaching Chinese to Korean native speakers. She was consultant and teacher in English, Korean and Chinese as second language learning centers, and believes that the opportunities and adventures in a multi-cultural environment can open students' minds, and lead them to think from multiple perspectives to find the best solution.

Mia Wu is our seasoned admissions teacher at CISK, with 7 years of extensive work experience. Over her career, she has dedicated 5 years to teaching positions, accumulating a profound educational background and practical experience. In the past 2 years, she has focused on kindergarten admissions, gaining a deep understanding of the admissions process and parental needs. Mia graduated from Huaiyin Institute of Technology with a major in English. She not only passed the TEM8 but also obtained teaching qualification certificates for English and Chinese (Primary School). Her educational background and professional qualifications add more authority and professionalism to our admissions work. Before joining CISK, she had 10 years of work experience teaching English to different age groups, which enables her to more accurately understand the needs and expectations of parents and provide professional consultation and advice. Mia's professional abilities and rich experience will greatly enhance CISK's admissions efforts.
