CISK Terry Fox Run 2024: A Legacy of Hope and Unity

Today, we at Canadian International School Kunshan honored the indomitable spirit of Terry Fox through our annual Terry Fox Run. Inspired by his Marathon of Hope, we united as a community to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. Our students, teachers, and staff participated with zeal, embodying Terry's message that "Anything's possible if you try."

THE STORY OF TERRY FOX
Terry Fox lost his leg to cancer at 18 but found a new purpose in life—raising funds for cancer research. His Marathon of Hope spanned 5,373 kilometers across Canada, capturing the hearts of millions. Despite his battle with cancer, Terry's spirit lives on through the annual Terry Fox Run, which has raised over $850 million for cancer research since 1980.
