This summer, the Xinxin Education Foundation joined hands with students from the Canadian International School of Kunshan (CISK) on a remarkable journey - introducing the world of computer programming to the students of Xinxin Primary School in Qufu, Shandong.

Supported by CISK and the Xinxin Education Foundation, the "Science and Technology for a Stronger Nation - Youth Innovation and Public Welfare Summer Camp" not only equipped CISK students with a five-day training on programming and information literacy but also sparked their enthusiasm to share their expertise with children with fewer opportunities. The camp brought together elite teachers from CISK, senior engineers from a renowned IT enterprise, and dedicated volunteers, fostering a learning ecosystem for the students.

In Qufu, CISK students engaged in profound dialogues with local teachers and students, gaining insights into their "digital education" landscape. They then organized vibrant Scratch programming classes in groups, ranging from introductions to basic programming environments to character modeling concepts and creating interactive greeting cards. Through the "student-to-student" teaching model, they ignited children's curiosity in programming and fostered a sense of collaborative learning.

This teaching initiative not only elevated CISK students' digital capabilities and practical skills but crucially, established a bridge between urban and rural education, contributing to bridging the "digital divide" and mitigating the "digital illiteracy" rate. We are confident that such philanthropic initiatives will continue to inspire more compassionate students to devote themselves to education, collaboratively shaping dreams for a brighter future.
