In order to honor Terry Fox's legacy and contribute to cancer research, CISK hosted the annual Terry Fox Run, in which students, teachers and parents ran hand in hand with each other. During the charity sale, we raised over 8500 rmb, which were donated to the Terry Fox Foundation to contribute to cancer research for all mankind.

Founded in 2009, SAPA is the largest non-profit animal welfare organization in Suzhou. They are dedicated to providing care, food, and shelter to lost and and homeless small animals (cats, dogs) in the Suzhou Area.

In order to support SAPA and protect small animals, CISK hosted an interesting activity, in which students bought cakes and threw them to the volunteered teachers. We raised almost 1000 rmb, and all the money were donated to SAPA to support the protection for small animals.

Several students and staff volunteered at the Suzhou Association for the Protection of Animals shelter. Driving to the south of Suzhou they joined the "Friends of SAPA" volunteer group and got busy making a difference for the animals in need.

This trip helped the relationship between CISK and SAPA grow ever stronger, with CISK students having raised over 1000 rmb for the charity in the past few months.
