As the sun rose over Canadian International School Kunshan (CISK) on the 12th, 19th, and 23rd of April, excitement was in the air. Students from Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary levels eagerly prepared, ready to show their sports skills and team spirit at our annual Sports Days. Dressed in their house colors, nearly 300 students took part, filling the school grounds with energy and the spirit of friendly competition.

The events were carefully planned to include different abilities, ensuring every student could take part and do well. From traditional races to team games, there was something for everyone. The range of events not only showcased individual talents but also strengthened the inclusive spirit of CISK.

Our School Houses — Eagle,Elephant,Leopard, and Panda — were at the centre of this exciting competition. Each student competed not just for themselves but for their House, adding points that could help their School House win. The competition was close, and every point was important, making for an exciting finish with a very small difference in final scores. However, you will have to wait and guess who the overall House Winner is after Labour Holiday.

Sports Day at CISK is more than just a sports event; it's a celebration of our community's closeness, strength, and spirit. It shows that our school cares and values more than just academic learning; it’s also about investing and building a supportive, energetic community that promotes wholistic student development.

Looking back on these lively three days, we are reminded of the fun, challenges and valuable lessons learned. A big congratulations to all the participants and here's to many more years of promoting health, sportsmanship, and friendship at CISK!
