WASC accreditation is a rigorous and comprehensive evaluation process conducted by the Accrediting Commission for Schools Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC). This esteemed accreditation body assesses various dimensions of an educational institution, ensuring that it meets or exceeds established standards of quality and effectiveness. The accreditation process encompasses an in-depth examination of curriculum, faculty qualifications, student support services, infrastructure, and institutional effectiveness. Successfully achieving WASC accreditation will signify that CISK adheres to the highest educational standards and is committed to continuous improvement.

Stakeholders in the context of CISK's accreditation journey refer to individuals or groups who have a vested interest in the school's success. This includes students, parents, teachers, staff, alumni, and members of the local community. Actively engaging stakeholders is crucial as their perspectives, feedback, and involvement contribute significantly to the success of the accreditation process.

‍‍‍‍● Pre-initial visit (March 2024)

An ACS WASC-appointed consultant will visit CISK and interact with all stakeholders. The main purpose of the visit is to enable the deepening of the understanding of the requirements for accreditation by all stakeholders and to foster the active involvement of all stakeholders in the process. 

● Action plan and implementation (April 2024 onwards)

Based on ACS WASC’s learning guiding principles and the pre-initial visit report, CISK will develop action plans to address areas of improvement and capitalize on strengths. This phase involves implementing strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall quality of our educational offerings.

● Staff training (Fall 2024)

An ACS WASC-appointed trainer will offer a series of workshops to CISK staff.

● Initial visit (Dates to be confirmed soon)

An external evaluation team, appointed by ACS WASC, will visit our campus to conduct a comprehensive review. This visit provides an opportunity for experts in the field to assess our institution first-hand, offering valuable insights and recommendations.‍‍‍‍
