CISK IB-PYP Education explained

At CISK, we adopt advanced IB educational concepts and methods, combined with an international curriculum, to nurture children's cross-cultural communication skills, critical thinking, and innovation. We focus on developing children's comprehensive qualities, enabling them to excel in academics, arts, sports, and more.

Founded in 2012, CISK (Canadian International School Kunshan) is a K-12 international school, based in Suzhou and licensed by the Education Bureau of Jiangsu's provincial government. CISK offers a continuum of IB education for students from kindergarten to high school, with English as the language of instruction.

We are a welcoming, caring, and learning school community with students and teachers from all over the world. HOUSE SYSTEM

CISK has a House System that contains four Houses: Panda House, Elephant House, Eagle House, and Leopard House. Every student will be placed in one of four houses and will remain a member of that house for the duration of their time here. Each house has a senior(G11 or G12) house leader.

The House System allows students from different grades to establish close bonds and develop new friendships. At the same time, it helps students build self-confidence, obtain psychological support, and find their true selves.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE SUPPORT PROGRAM

CISK has established an English Language Support Program for PYP-ES students. The program focuses on supporting students referred by their homeroom teachers and ESL teachers to help them improve their English language skills in specific areas.
