“As I look out at you guys in your graduation gowns and caps, I reflect on how yet another year has passed us by in the blink of an eye – and what a year it was! With the world upside down and things crazier than ever, it was definitely not an easy time to be a DP student, and you guys came with a whole set of, shall we say unique, problems and characteristics of your own. We were in for a bumpy ride, but I am so glad we got to experience it together.

We all worried you might not make it to the end, but you all did! You showed resilience and determination that rivals any students we have had here and I am so proud that you have come out on the other side.

Thank you all for the traits you demonstrated throughout the entirety of your DP journey. You are the true faces of resilience and determination. Please continue to grow, to learn, and to share your amazingness with the world. I know you are going to go on to do amazing things – but please never forget where you came from, always come back to visit, and know things can only get better from here!”
