With extensive experience in special education, bilingual instruction, and parent communication, Dr. Salazar has led innovative policies and practices across multiple schools. Ms. Peggy Wen, a graduate of the University of Hong Kong with a degree in Education, and is currently pursuing a EdD in Education at the University of Bath in UK，she has been deeply involved in the IB education field for many years. She firmly believes that CISK is "a place where teachers and students feel warmth and belonging," and fully supports the Executive Principal in handling daily affairs while leading the operations of Secondary and overseeing Chinese language curriculum. From curriculum implementation to teacher and student development, her consistent approach focuses on providing students with diverse practical opportunities to help them build confidence through experience.

Mr. Keith McCann is from Canada and holds degrees in education and economics.  

With over a decade of teaching experience, he is well versed in teaching and academic leadership in both the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP). He specialises in helping students excel in the core subjects of the IB Diploma Programme, including the Extended Essay (EE) and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS).

Equally importantly, he is also a thoughtful and caring educator with a passion for learning. He believes that the most effective learning environment is proactive, student-centred, and incorporates collaborative inquiry activities. As his idol Terry Fox says, “Dreams are made possible if you try”.

Born in the United States and raised in a multicultural environment, Ms. Shiraishi has 12 years of experience teaching elementary students from multilingual backgrounds. As the PYP Coordinator, she oversees the implementation of the PYP curriculum and professional development of the teaching staff. With a focus on integrating the Units of Inquiry with the IB Learner Profile she ensures students make a smooth transition from the Early Years through the upper PYP grades. As a mother of two kids, she believes that “education thrives on love and patience” to create a supportive environment for each child.

At CISK, she oversees administrative operations, campus security and compliance. She works with the logistics team (transportation, cafeteria and boarding) to ensure the smooth operation of the campus. Mia Wu is our seasoned admissions teacher at CISK, with 7 years of extensive work experience. Over her career, she has dedicated 5 years to teaching positions, accumulating a profound educational background and practical experience. In the past 2 years, she has focused on kindergarten admissions, gaining a deep understanding of the admissions process and parental needs. Mia graduated from Huaiyin Institute of Technology with a major in English. She not only passed the TEM8 but also obtained teaching qualification certificates for English and Chinese (Primary School).
