奔跑于田野之上——幼儿园户外教学


CISK kindergarten's second IB PYP inquiry theme "Sharing the Planet" is in progress.
共享地球是CISK幼儿园近期开展的IB PYP探究主题。孩子们在老师和父母的陪伴下来到户外,以亲身体验的方式开展探究行动。
他们轻嗅花朵的芬芳,抚摸小羊的头顶,见证大自然的循环再生,在生机盎然的田野中尽情奔跑大笑……
幼儿园 小班
CISKindergarten Nursery
Nursery explored the characteristics of animals, the effects of animals on humans, and how humans take care of animals. In order to help children observe, contact and feed animals more realistically, we went to Yuefeng Organic Farm to carry out outdoor activities.
Let's go to find the little animals! What do the animals eat? What do they do? How do they make sound?
对于小班的孩子来说,他们探究的重点是小动物。小动物都吃什么,做什么,怎么叫的?它们对人类有什么样的意义呢?
为了让孩子们能近距离接触到小动物,我们一同前往了悦丰岛的有机农场。

First stop,make friends with vegetables
第一站 跟蔬菜宝宝做朋友
All flowers bloom together in the farm, and the children are deeply attracted by the beauty of nature. On the farm, we saw corn, pomegranate, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, taro, watermelon, cowpea, onion, lettuce and other organic vegetables.
We also saw that there are many supports helping plants grow in the farmland.
一进农场,孩子们最先看到便是种类丰富的有机蔬菜。这里有玉米、石榴、西红柿、辣椒、土豆、芋头、西瓜、豇豆、洋葱、生菜等等,它们的身边还有许多帮助植物生长的支架。
大家都被这样的场景深深吸引,有的小朋友已经拔出一根大萝卜,擦擦泥土,准备好投喂小动物啦!

Second stop, feed the animals
第二站 投喂小动物
Finally we saw the little animals, closely observing pigs, lambs, rabbits, cocks, hens, and so on. Their lovely appearances made us laugh!
They all like to eat the vegetables and grass we feed them. Note down their favorite food and go back to share it with your teachers and friends! The stuffed animals moan, moo, and giggle, it's like a nice symphony!
终于来到小动物区,小班的孩子们近距离地观察着小猪、小羊、小兔子还有公鸡和母鸡等等,被小动物可爱模样逗得哈哈大笑。
它们可喜欢吃我们喂的蔬菜和草了,赶快把他们爱吃的记录下来,回去和老师与小伙伴们一起分享吧!
吃饱了的小动物们有的在哼唧哼唧,有的在哞哞哞,有的在咯咯咯,这些声音交织在一起,真像一首好听的交响乐。

Third stop, the bee base
第三站,蜜蜂基地
With protection tools, we went to see queen bees, worker bees and drones. This is the most interesting place. The worker in the hive introduced the bees family and the labor division and job responsibilities of each family member to us.
The worker in the hive also told us that the bees would not harm humans unless it was a last resort, because they would lose its life when they fight back.
在带上防护装备后,我们一同前往蜂房观察了蜂王、工蜂和雄蜂。蜂房的叔叔给我们介绍了蜜蜂的家人以及每位家庭成员的分工与职责。
他还告诉我们除非在万不得已的情况下,蜜蜂一般是不会伤害人类的,因为它们在用蜂刺反击时也会因此失去生命。
Nursery students learned about sharing the planet, caring for animals and their babies, as well as the needs of animals. The visit to the farm helped them know more about the animals they have learned in class.
通过这次趣味横生的农场之行,孩子们对课堂上学习的知识有了更深的了解,尤其是如何去关爱小动物,如何去了解它们的需求。我们相信这已成为孩子们探究“共享地球”主题的重要一环。
幼儿园 中班

JK explored the parts of plants, the conditions required for their growth, and the effects of plants on the earth. This week we took an exciting trip to Huiyou Ecological Park. After a quick bus trip in the morning, the students arrived and began their exploration of the park.
Along the way, the students saw a wide variety of plants and trees, which is also the current unit of inquiry, Sharing the Planet. There was a tunnel of rainbow pinwheels which they enjoyed passing through, as well as gardens filled with colorful flowers such as roses and peonies, and beautiful pot plants.
对于中班的学生来说,他们探究的重点是植物。为了让孩子们深入学习植物的形态、生长条件以及对地球的作用,我们一同前往昆山卉友生态园,开展了一次激动人心的植物探索之旅!
随着大巴车到达目的地,我们的探索正式开始。一路上,学生们看到了种类繁多的花草树木,越往里走便越是眼花缭乱,简直美极了!
In the nursery and greenhouse, the students also saw gardeners pruning indoor plants for sale. We also saw many crops, including tomatoes and a garden full of immature grapes, peaches and loquats. At the end of our field trip, the workers generously gave each class a bag of loquats to share when we returned to school.
他们穿过五彩缤纷的风车隧道,蹦蹦跳跳地来到小花园,欣赏这里的玫瑰、牡丹以及各种漂亮的盆栽植物。经过苗圃与大棚,同学们看到了正被修剪待售的室内植物,还有西红柿、葡萄、桃子、枇杷等还未成熟的蔬果农作物。
The students were encouraged to collect the wildflowers and leaves scattered along the pathways for a later art project. They will make these wildflowers into beautiful plastic coasters to preserve their beautiful memories of this trip.
在这次的户外活动中,我们鼓励同学们收集散落在小路上的野花和树叶,用于创作接下来的一个艺术项目。这些漂亮的野花被孩子们制作成了美丽的塑料杯垫,将这次旅行的美好记忆永久保存。
幼儿园 大班

On May 18th all SK students took a field trip to Ever Bright Environment Company, Suzhou. This trip aimed to summarize the unit “Sharing the Planet”. Students learned how to conserve natural resources by recycling the wastes.
There is a special narrator of the company to explain the functions of the various departments of the energy company to the children. The narrator showed us lots of pictures and told us what happened when the garbage arrived. We could clearly see the entire process from the beginning to the end. And each step showed the rubbish got properly handled.SK students witnessed how to get energy from garbage.
5月18日,大班全体学生前往苏州光大能源环保公司进行了实地考察。这次考察的目标是对“共享地球”单元进行总结——我们是如何通过回收废物来保护自然资源的?
专业的解说员为学生们解说能源公司中各部门的职能,还展示了很多图片,告诉我们垃圾运输到这里后将会发生什么。
They watched all the steps clearly behind huge glass walls. SK students completed the field trip safely. After the field trip, SK students discussed what they saw. Last, the students got reflection sheets to answer the questions and describe the place where they took a field trip.
透过巨大的玻璃墙,学生们可以清晰地看到垃圾处理的每一个步骤,并见证我们是如何从垃圾中获取能源的。实地考察结束后,大班的同学们热烈讨论着在能源公司学习到的种种知识。他们在反思纸上回答了一些问题,并对这次开展户外活动的地方进行了详细的描述。
Generally speaking, field trip is not only to take children out to play and broaden their horizons, but more importantly, to apply the knowledge they have acquired in IB class and the results of each inquiry to life, to feel nature, to be friends with nature, and to see the partners who share the earth with us!

对于孩子们来说,户外活动的意义不仅在于外出探索,更重要的是要鼓励他们将IB课堂中学习的知识运用在生活中,在宽阔的大自然中取得自己的探究成果,真正感受“共享地球”这一主题的深刻含义。
