“共享地球”探究活动

Spring has ended until April, we meet again at this campus finally in May.


In this warm and beautiful summer, CISK kindergarten carried out a series of inquiry activities to protect animals and the earth, centering on IBPYP's inquiry theme of "Sharing the Planet".

四月随春天流逝,五月的我们终于返回了久违的校园。


在这个热烈而美好的夏日,CISK幼儿园围绕着IBPYP“共享地球”的探究主题,开展了一系列爱护动物,保护地球的探究活动。


The Primary Years Program aims to provide interesting, relevant, challenging and important transdisciplinary courses for students aged 3-12 (Pre-school to G5). In the Primary Years Program, students have their own voice, choice, and ownership so as to stimulate the agency (innovation) of learning and be willing to take responsibility for autonomous learning.

幼儿园及小学项目(PYP)是为3-12岁(学前至五年级)的学生而设计的。该项目围绕六大超学科主题,为学生提供富有趣味性与挑战性的探究课程。该项目培养学生拥有自己的发言权、选择权和归属权,从而激发学习的内驱力,让他们乐于承担自主学习的责任。


NATURE 自然


The grasses and trees are growing at this time of the year. Our children are so happy to be in the nature with the flowers, birds and the butterflies. 

万物复苏,草长莺飞,孩子们在这生机勃勃的日子里闻花香,听鸟鸣,看燕舞。

They plant seeds, observe and explore the nature and feel grateful of the beauty the nature has bring to us.

我们播种,观察,探究,拥抱大自然,也感恩大自然回馈我们的一切美好!

ANIMAL 动物


There seems to be a natural connection between kids and animals. Kindergarteen kids love animals, the interesting animal world always get their attention. They are curious and wants to explore more about different animals.

孩子和动物之间,似乎有着天然的联系。幼儿园的孩子们都非常喜欢动物,丰富多彩的动物世界总是能够吸引孩子的注意。孩子总是充满了对不同种类动物的好奇心和探索兴趣。

We started our inquiry activity with animals they like and familiar with-- our “animal friends”.We use different ways such as, observation, painting, questioning and discussion to satisfy the children's desire to explore the animal world. It is a pleasant, curious and fun journey to the animal kingdom.

幼儿园在本次探究活动中,以“动物朋友”为切入点,从幼儿熟悉并喜欢的动物开始,通过观察、绘画、提问讨论等各种不同的方式,来满足孩子探索动物的愿望,开启一段愉快、好奇、好玩的动物王国之旅!



Do you have a pet at home? I have a cat, what pet do you have?

Lovely pets always get attention from the kids. But, do you know how to take care of them?

Our young kids have their good ideas.


你们家养小宠物了吗?我家的宠物是猫咪,你家的宠物是什么呢?

可爱的小宠物,时时刻刻吸引着宝贝们的目光。那么,应该如何更好的照顾他们呢?宝贝们有着自己的好办法。


WORDS FROM THE KIDS:

Lucy: “Puppies love bones, be careful when you feed them, especially your hands.” “Don’t give them too much to eat otherwise their tummy will feel bad.”

Lucy:“小狗喜欢吃肉骨头,给它喂吃的要小心手。”“而且不能一下子喂好多吃的,吃太多肚子会不舒服的!”

George:”Let him drink 

more water, just like me.”

George:“也要让它多喝水,跟我一样是个爱喝水的好孩子。”

Doris: ” Make the meat into small pieces when you feed them, or their tummy will feel bad.”

Doris:“如果给它吃肉要把肉撕开,不然太大吃进去会肚子疼。”

Quentin: ”That’s right, 

it’s the same with the kittens, they like the dried fish, feed the kittens with dried fish every week makes them very happy. ”

Quentin:“对呀,喂小猫咪也是这样,而且每个礼拜给它吃喜欢的小鱼干,就会很开心。”

Ryan: ” Take them to the doctor when they are sick, the doctor will have some medicine for them.”“Yes, take medicine when you are sick then you will recover soon!”

Ryan:“如果他们生病了,要马上给他们去看病,让医生叔叔配药吃。”“恩,生病一定要吃药,这样他们身体才会很好的!”


EARTH 地球


Love the earth, live in harmony with the nature.” The earth is our home, our nature mother, how much do you know about the earth mother? Let’s see what did the kids say.

珍爱地球,人与自然和谐共生”。地球是我们的家园,是我们的大自然母亲,你对地球母亲了解吗?让我们一起来听听小朋友怎么说。


Ms. Charlotte: In our class, William loves to share the information about the danger of tornado. He also told me, earthquake is the result of crustal movement, and also tsunami.


张梦老师:我们班的William非常喜欢分享他知道的关于龙卷风、台风的危害,还告诉我:地震,是地壳运动产生的结果。还有海啸也是。

After I told him that, there are more rainy days recently, I wonder how does rain form. He explained to me very well with his own understanding and promised to show me his drawing about how the rain forms. I am expecting to see it.


在我向他表达“最近下雨天比较多,我比较好奇雨是怎么形成的?”他非常详细的给我做出了他的理解,并且还承诺会用图画的方式给我详细的解释雨形成的过程,非常期待看到他的图示!



The earth has written its own story for 4.6 billion years. We all enjoy the love from earth but always forget to take good care of it. The kids in CISK has buried the seeds of environmental protection, they can feel the vastness of the world and learn to respect nature. We will protect the earth and build a beautiful home together.


地球书写了46亿年的故事,我们每个人都享受着她的厚爱,却总是忘记回馈对她的关怀。CISK的孩子们埋下环保的种子,感受世界的广博,心怀对自然的敬畏,一起守护地球,共建美丽家园!
